My daughter, a US Citizen filed a petition for her husband in December 2011 who is from India but was working in Gulf and recently finished his work and moved back to India. I-130 has been recently approved! (It took about 5.5 months for the approval). We haven't received any notification but saw the status on USCIS website. Currently, my son-in-law lives in India and want to know what are the next steps to bring him over at the earliest?
My daughter is still in college and does not work. I will be joint sponsor and will fill Form I-864 and I-864A. In her I-864, she would not have any annual income - Question Number 23 of I-864 (Q22 - My current individual annual income is…). Is that okay to have $0 and joint sponsor to show his/her income to fulfill the requirements? Question 22, how do we show that she is still in college as it is related to only employment? Please guide me! As a joint sponsor, do I submit both I-864 and I-864A? Also, do we need to notarize these documents?
