I am a US Citizen and applied for my husband's immigration ( for Green card ) six months ago. Initially I applied for
I-130 which is very likely to be approved within next month. But now I want to know about the second step with NVC.
I want to prepare myself in advance for the documents which NVC may require from us , would also like to ask someone who can guide us about our understanding on the case.
1- USCIS will approve and send case to NVC.
2- NVC generates AOS bill via letter and we may pay this bill On-line ?
3- After AOS bill is approved , NVC will send us another letter of documents submission for further process.
4- These documents include DS230 , I-864 ( As I have a co-sponser , my income is not that much to support my husband ) , I-864A ( household ) , I-134 ( AOS ) , Immigrant's Passport copies , Immigrant's pictures , Immigrant's police certificate and more evidence of our relationship.
5- Please comment if the above point has something missing or we need to add or remove some documents in our file
after this submission , NVC will accept our case and will send this documents to Embassy and Embassy will further assign interview date.
Please help to clear my confusion here.
