Application I-130 for my adopted daughters (under 18) was filed in 2007.
Few months ago, USCIS CSC requested for more evidence of the adoption and two-year residency requirement. Unfortunately, due to my limited immigration experience, the most important document, Adoption Decree, was left out when I responsed to the immigration request, rendering the denied of the I-130 application.
I was told by immigration attorney that the appeal may take few months to a year and the chance to get approval is very slim because the denied was due to my mistake.
Two weeks ago before the 30 days deadline, I filed I-130 appeal and submitted the Adoption Decree to CSC. It was approved this morning when I check the online case status.
I am so excited about this. The next step is to wait for the immigration VISA for the category 2A.
