I-130 and I-485: for mother on visitor visa: rule of overstay

US Citizen applying for Mother who is in USA on visitors visa. She arrived 4 months earlier. 2 months left for her visa stay. If I apply for I 130 petition and I 485, and it takes 5-6 months for an approval, then will her stay till she gets her GC be considered an overstay?
 
If she properly files the I-485 before expiration of her allotted 6 months, that means there is no overstay. The I-485 will allow her to stay legally until it is decided.
