My fiance and I have justed filed for a fiance visa and it was recieved at NSC on 19th September, which we discovered through the USCIS website because we havent recieved a letter of reciept yet.

I have just returned from the States back to UK after a 3 month visit. I plan on going back to the US at the end of this month to visit him again for another 3 months after the discovery, from research mainly on this site, that processing will take so long.

My question is will i be turned away at the border because i have a visa pending or because i have previously had an long trip to the US? I have heard it may happen

Thank you!!

ps; can anyone tell my why there isnt any processing dates for the I-129F for NSC on the USCIS websites. Im finding it difficult to judge how long the visa is going to take because i have no offical information to go off.

if you dont know by now, you go to the uscis site and click on national benefits center and it will show the k3 processing times

If you sent the I-129 by certified or registered mail you would have proof they received it. You should of gotten a receipt from them within 4 to 6 weeks after sending in the I-129.

It all depends on what kind of visa you are using now to visit US again within the short time, and what reason for you to visit US this time. If you visit US for the reason other than meet your US citizen Fiance and you have a valid visa, it should be fine.

On the other hand, if the USICS officer knows you have a K-1 visa application pending, and you are in US again to meet your Fiance as a purpose only, then it may be a problem.
