I-129 Premium Processing

Hello All,

My company submited my I-129 petition on October 2002 and still waiting for approval. I need to go to India on April with new visa stamped on passport. Can I ask my attorney to upgrade processing to 'Premium Processing' at this stage? Is there any issues with this?

Any help on this will be highly appreciated.

There are no problems , I did the same , applied for H1b EOS in August , waited till Nov and converted to premium processing (paid $1000 + $150 attorneys fees as company was not ready to pay for premium processing ) , got H1b and H4 in 8 business days , sent for stamping on dec 12th to stlouis , hopefully , I should get it back in next 2 weeks enabling me to travel in feb.
you are cutting close now , convert to prmium processing ASAP , if you definitely want to travel in April
 
Thanks Nitin.. when I talked with para-legal, she was not sure whether we can upgrade to 'preminum processing' after 3 months of initial submission. Now I can confirm with her that its possible..

And what H4 you were talking about. I am going to India to get
married. Do I need to get anything approved from INS to bring her here?

Congratulations for getting approved for marriage :)

You don't need anything preapproved to bring your Spouse , just the usual stuff i.e. paystubs , Company letter , marriage certificate and photographs etc
