Hi
I've already been admitted in the US on a TN1 visa. I got a couple of other work offers with different employers. I don't know what specific answers are expected by the USCIS in filling out the form I-129.
One of the additional offers is with the same employer (a University) but for a different position and with a different department. Both additional job offers exceed the expiry date on my initial TN1 visa application (TN1 expires July 2008 and the newly requested TN visas will expire September 2008 if approved).
Questions:
Part 2 question 2. what is my basis for classification, Change in previously approved employment or new concurrent employment?
Part 2 question 3. I don't have a petition receipt number for my initial TN1 as I applied at the border. Should I write N/A or NONE in this field or the TN visa number from the I-94 card?
Part 2 question 4. Prior petition. Same question as for the above.
Part 2 question 5. Requested action. Is my application for an additional TN1 visa considered a change a status to a nonimmigrant classification based on a Free Trade Agreement? I am already in a TN status.
Part 4 Question 8. is the application for an additional TN visa considered new petition?
Thanks,
