Husbands leaves US, GC state

Hi
My husband wants to go back to India and I want to work a couple of years so that I will get a transfer to my company in India. We applied GC through his company in 2003 Feb and our 485 is pending now which we applied in Jul 2007. Now my husband wants to move to India, will my GC process be stopped too ?
Or will it go on ?
Should I have a H1B for safety ?

If you are the derivative beneficiary for his application, your I-485 will get denied if his is denied. If he leaves the US without Advance Parole, or fails to return before his Advance Parole expires, his I-485 will be denied, which in turn will result in yours being denied.
