Husband needs L2 Visa !!

Hi,

My wife has a valid L1 visa (exp Dec 2011) and she might get her project approved and move to US by October. Her company is ready to sponsor L2 visa for me!
I would like to move with my wife to US and find a job there. How are my chances of getting L2 Visa?

I have a valid B1 visa and have traveled to US 3 times.

L2 is a Derivative and normally is issued with ease, your B1 travel history should make your case more stronger than the others with no US travel history.

I was wondering if someone could help me figure out a premium processing Q.
My wife is on L-1A, I am on H-1B visa. I am trying to get on to L-2 visa status. Can my application be done on premium processing when my wife's application is not going with mine.

Hi All,

I got my L-2 visa stamped on 21st March and I'm travelling to US next week (24th April) on B-1 and will be returning by May 15th. My wife will be travelling to US on L-1 by end of April - May 1st week.

My question is how long should i wait before joining my wife in US on L-2. Can i leave immediately (probably in a week) to the US? or should i wait for a month?

I have seen many forums/people saying you should wait atleast 3 months before entering US.
