Husband has past felony, when younger

My husband now of 38 has a past felony when he was 22. This is preventing him from getting a greencard because of a 1996 law prohibiting any alien with felonies from obtaining a greencard. Anyone notice any changes in this? We have 2 children together. I love him very much, but this hiding crap is for the birds. I would actually love to see his home town...someday....
 
There is a possibility depending on the felony charge. Your best bet is to consult with a good immigration attorney who has handled such cases before.
