Husband approved, wife(dependent) transferred to local INS Detroit

My husband I-485 was approved on Feb 26, 2001 and my case as dependent was transferred "for faster processing" to the local office in Detroit on Feb 28, 2001.

My wifes application is also transfered today. Why do they transfer the case, Are there any specific reasons. thanks
