Hunger Strike ... to resolve Name check!?

Guys, what do you think about going for hunger strike in rotation near FBI headquarter ?
Understand your frustration! Hope you will get out of this vicious circle soon!!
Hunger strike may result in putting your name on one more list which may further delay your name check;)

Dude, you must be crazy/fool....

HAVE YOU NOT HEARD OF WRIT OF MANDAMUS LAWSUIT?.....IF YOU CAN FILE THE WOM LAWSUIT agianst USCIS/FBI....YOU CAN GET OUT OF NAMECHECK HOLE WITHIN A MONTH....

Well, if you try to be too inventive/gandhigiri - just be careful it might backfire....

Anyone/banta4GC can let me know where to find the latest procedure to file "writ to Mandmus lawsuit"..I will appreaciate that.

Regarding hunger strike..chances of it backfiring is remote, But I still feel this extreme step should not eb needed.

As per USCIS memo(I read it about 6 months back but don't have document with me right now), WOM is no more an option to expedite name check... If you are stuck in name check you are stuck...

"FBI" is Big guy in the town

I talked to many attorneys.. They seem really scared to file a "writ of Mandamus" to help resolve the namecheck matter with FBI.

Look for thread from a user, Publicus.....there is tons of material -
sample docs to file WOM (Writ of Mandamus) lawsuits under citizenship forums....
check out user GED69 - I believe he filed WOM just about 1 year from 485 RD....

I would say 6 months (485 processing time)....+ 3 months of wait time...should be more than enough reason to file WOM.....
