Howto track when NVC sent forms to consulate?

Our DS 230 forms were received at the attorney's office mid last week.

I understand that the attorney's office will be sending the forms to NVC today/tomorrow.

I would appreciate if someone could tell me to track the progress from here onwards.

Does NVC inform the attorney's office when they forward the forms to the consulate?

Attorney and Co made it clear that they will receive the communication from the consulate regarding interview. I suspect that I will have hardly any notice to leave for Chennai to attend the interview.

So, tracking the progress will be very helpful for me

a) Tracking the delivery: Track the mail carrier.

b) NVC: The automated tracking system gets updated roughly
1 week to 10 days after they physically receive the packet.

c) NVC: At that point the message would tell you that your packet
3 is received and it takes 6 to 8 weeks for completion of review.

d) NVC: Once the review is complete the message would say
that the review is complete and wait few weeks for the next
step in process. ( Actually the file would be sent to the consulate in about 1 week from the date of completion of review).

e) NVC: Then the message changes to 'The case has been sent
to @@@@@ Consulate ........'. The attorney's office also gets
a communication.

f) The Consulate does not communicate immediately upon
receiving the file. They will only send out the packet 4
roughly one month before the interview date. They would
however respond to an email enquiry.
