How transfer works??

I did my FP on 17-Jan-03.
Still waiting for my wife's FP notice.

I will be changing job sometime in June'2003. Suppose if I change my job and move to INS Texas jurisdiction area or INS Vermont jurisdiction area, will my case transfer from INS Nebraska to the respective INS where I am going to live?

Some of friends are saying that my case will not be transferred and some says it will.

As far as I know, I will have to file AC-21 and the change of address form after I move to different job and the address. Is this correct?

Could somebody help me on how the transfer really works?
