How to Work with AUSA on Citizenship Lawsuit

I submitted N-400 in September 2005, and passed interview in March 2006. Then I've been stuck with name check.
I filed a lawsuit in US District Court in MA against USCIS in November 2006. In January 2007, at answer due date, an AUSA called me and said she has asked USCIS to expedite my name check, and asked for extension to answer. I agreed on 30 days extension.
Now the extended due date is approaching. The AUSA said my name check is still pending, and she may ask for another 30 days if the name check is not done by the extended due date. She said even if I don't agree to the second extension and ask for court intervention, the best thing that the court can do will be to order USCIS to expedite the name check, which she has already asked USCIS to do anyway. Therefore she suggests me waiting.
Is it true that I don't have any better option than just waiting?
Thanks!

That would be nice and convenient for her, wouldn't it...

30 days may indeed be a bit quick, but I do believe anything over 60 would be more than really necessary. Your call.

They already took more than one year to check that crap after your FP,I guess, so they had enough time for that. I think you should not give them anymore extension. Let the court take their course and decide on the issue. Good Luck !
