Dear Friends,

I received my I-485 approval last week but had already send in my application for AP and EAD. How do I withdraw? Is there a process? Or am I am going to loose all the fee $$$.

Thanks.

Me too

My card was approved, and I sent my applications last month - and the checks have been cashed in. Will I get any refund now? Anybody experienced this before?

Thanks,
-AF1

Place stop payment from your bank

I did the same. Confirmed with Customer Rep that is a valid and legal to do.

Just send in the letter to INS why it was done.

Congratulations.

Thanks kirankumarj!!!

Thanks for bumping this thread...
Voldemarv...yes we are enjoying our GC...:)
Kirankumarj, I have a questions...

What was a format of the letter you sumbitted to the USCIS?

Which address did you send it to? Is it the same where we sent in our application.
What is your opinion, USCIS is going to refund our money if they have encash it, but it is worth to try:)
Anyone whose USCIS has refunded their money, please post your experiences.

Once again thanks everyone....may all your GCs get through who have been waiting so long....I totally feel your agony and pain....

I applied EAD in NSC . So,sent the letter there, describing to withdraw my application since 485 is approved. Just refer your and your spouse's LIN# AND A#.

They would not refund if they have already encashed it.
