How to verify the Change of Address

Hi,
My AOS was on 12/2004, I married an american citizen, I sent the change of address the first week of 06/2006 and I'm still waiting to know if they received. I sent the sponsor change of address for my husband the same day and received the NOA just one week latter!

I just called the 1-800, but they do "not have access to my personal information", so do I need to make an infopass apointmente just to make sure they change my address?

I'm going to send the forms and proofs of my bona fide marriage to remove te conditionality of my residence by the end of this month and do not want to have any problems because I know the postal service do not forward that kind of mail.

My office is Bloomington Minnesota.

Verify Change of Address

Hi!

You mentioned in your post that they do not forward these type of mails... Can you confirm this? Because I just had my interview last week and we just moved. I havent filed for change of address as I am waiting for my greencard.. I am hoping this will get forwarded to my temporary address.

I can not confirm, but that happen to few of my friends and to me. When a I moved 2 years ago from GA to MN, they send a letter to my old address that was sent back to them, and when I visit the office in MN (before the infopass) they told me that.

Thanks. When you went to the MN office, how long did it take for them to resend the greencard? Thanks.

Marisol, was just a letter not the green card... they do not resend my letter, just print it and give it to me the day of that visit.
I hope your worries end soon.

Our interview letter was forwarded, but not my husband's actual greencard. We waited about 5 months before I realized this was the problem. We received his card about a week after we updated our address.

and how did you change your address? Did you file the AR-11 and call the 1-800 number?
