How to use EAD?

Hi All,

My H1 is going to expire within two weeks. I have valid EAD. I want to use EAD for same employer.
EB3(India) , PD April 2004, I-140 Approved, I-485 filed on 19th Jul 2007.
I have EAD and AP


My questions :
How can I activate my EAD?
What do I need to do to use EAD?
Do I need to inform USCIS that I am going to use EAD?
Is my employer has to do something?

all you need to do is complete I-9 form and submit to your employer. That is it.
