How to use EAD?

My H1 will expire soon and i will be using EAD after H1 expiration for the same employer. I would really appreciate I somebody could tell me what steps should i have to take in order to start using EAD

Here are some questions:

1. What form/forms do i need to fill out?

2. Do I have to notify USCIS?

File a new I-9 form with your employer. -- even this is the responsibility of the employer - not you.
Its better that you initiate it, though.

You don't have to send anything to USCIS.
 
The O.P wanted to know how to start using the EAD.

So I-9 is the right form. I-765 is to apply for a EAD :)
