Got AP approved (3 forms). Will appreciate, if someone enlightens me how to use these forms. Why are there 3 of them? Should I take all three with me while I travel? Will they take away any of them when I come back? What form show to whom? etc.

Many thanks

U can carry all three if you want..as sometimes Airlines would keep one...[wouldn't accept the photcopy..heard on this board, though haven't experienced]
At the port of entry, just handover One and you would be taken for secondary inspection[in a separate room] wherein the officer would check and get that stamped with entry date etc..!!

RD, ND of your AP

hi timaeuti ,
Please give your RD,ND and Approval date for you AP.
I applied in last week of Sept. , just to get an idea how much time it is taking at VSC.

Thanks

RFE was really stupid. They requested copies of our (my and my wife's) passport first pages and another form of ID. This is despite the fact that with our I-485s we mailed copies of all our passports plus many other supporting documents.

My paralegal told me that he Fedexed all of that to them last week. However, our case status still does not reflect the fact that they got the RFE they wanted.

I have used AP twice at Newark as POE. At POE, along with your passport just submit your passport, AP, 485 receipt, I-94 and customs form. You will be taken to a secondary inspection room. Your passport and AP will be stamped after verification in BCIS database. You might be asked couple of questions before the passport is given back. They might ask your SSN, sponsor company name etc. Some people say you need a visa if you go to Paris. Indian officials know about AP and no problem in India. Just keep copies of AP and 485 receipt with you.

Good Luck!!!
