how to transfer L1-B visa from old passport to new passport

Hi

I have L1-B visa,it is valid upto sep,2009. currentely i am in US.
unfortunately my passport got wet in water,my passport got damged,I-94 stamp got earised and also VISA paper got wet.

So i am planing to applay new passport in US,but i do not know how to transfer my L1-B and I-94 from old passport to new passport?

do i need to go india to get my L1-VISA or else i can get it done from here?

Can anyone help me in this?

You should check with USCIS and they will be able to issue duplicate I-94 for you, as far as visa is concerned - again check with them. You should be able to do this remaining in US.... I suppose
