I want to talk to an IIO. However, I tried many times to dial the VSC # and never got through btw 8-4. How can your guys get connected and talk to a real person? I only got connected in the evening and listen to the message "your I-485 was received on ........"

Do you have a "redial" button on your phone? Hang up
and redial if you hear busy signal. Keep trying it
many (say 100) times, there is a good chance you will
hear the ringing sound.

Just spoke with an IIO. This is the first time I called to check my I140-Amendment status. I was quite surprised . I thought it was an automated service but a lady came and asked my zip code and she asked the reason for my call. I told my RD and ND. Then she told me to read the first paragraph on the form. It says 150-240 days. So she told that they r reveiwing it. She was very patient and she told me to have a nice day and not to worry.

I had been trying to call the number for past couple of months from my office. I had stored the number and whenever I think I dial it. And finally I got connected yesterday(lucky day). So you are still in normal stage. Best of Luck.
But because of the shock I did not ask much except when will I get my FP, which she replied should take between 30-40 days.
