If you are submitting I-485 appln next week, you need to include copy of your w2 for 2001,2000,1999. Also with copies of 1099 for those years. I think this makes sense.

No.No.It is not new requirement.In some cases INS want to check whether the person is with the same company through these sources after submitting the employment letter while filing I-485. This information will actually be submitted to attorney. He just sends, only the information needed by INS. In case if INS request him more information in the process, then he will respond without bothering us again. I think only some attorneys collect such information.
