Hello All, Need help with applying for US Green card, here is the situation, My daughter is dual Citizen (Both US and Canada) and she is turning 21, she wants to sponsor us for US Green card, but currently she is University in Canada. Me and my wife, both of us are Canadian Citizens and employed in Canada. What is the procedure to apply for Family based green card, what would be the processing timelines, .., appreciate your help. Thanks.

I have gone through various websites, general information is to do - I-130, I-485 ,..., please let us know what forms my daughter has to fill and submit. Thanks,

Your daughter will need to be 21, domiciled in the US (living there), and earning an income in the US sufficient to meet the sponsor requirements or get a joint sponsor who can. So under current circumstances it is not feasible for her to petition you. Does she have any plans to move to the US?

Thanks a lot SusieQQQ for answering my question, yes she wants to move to USA, but currently she is in her final year of university. I have financial stability as I am having a full time job here in Canada, can't I show that all these years I have been working and able to support me and my family until I get a job in USA. Thanks

That will be a factor in the public charge determination, but US law requires a petitioner for a family member be a sponsor, and if they do not earn enough they can get a joint sponsor. Certain assets of the intending immigrant can be used under certain conditions to help meet the requirements- you can examine the instructions for form I864 (this is the affidavit of support required from the sponsor) to get an idea of what needs to be done. https://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/document/forms/i-864instr.pdf

for the general guides on what to file see here https://www.uscis.gov/forms/explore...elative-to-become-a-lawful-permanent-resident Note that as you are not already resident in the US, form i485 is not applicable.
