What Happens to I 485 - When No salary paid

Hi
My company is not paying salary for the last few months. They are considering the period as "Leave without pay". What happens when we get the W2-Forms in the year end. The salary paid is far less than the salary shown in the Labour. How to handle this issue. Any suggestions to handle this issue smoothly so that 485 status is not lost.

thanks

No clear cut solution. Are you on HI? Most prabably though itwon't be a problem as long as your current salary at the time of RFE or an EVL states that the said salary will be paid.

I am working on EAD. I am worried that most of the RFE requires W2 Forms. If the W2 salary is far less than the required by LC.

W2 Salary only shows how much you made that year. There is nothing to suggest that you can't be on leave for a few months and so forth. So don't worry about it know, as there is nothing you can do to change it anyway.

find a new job ASAP

I know it is a tough job market. I was on unpaid leave for several months and since I had EAD, I switched to a new employer (full time position) in a different state. Prospect of an interview with BCIS is better than no pay stubs. As far as the "unpaid time off from work", there is nothing we can do. The least is minimize that period by finding another job.
