How to retirieve Naturalization Certificate

Back in 2001, I applied for a green card for my brother. At that time I did a stupid thing and sent the my original naturalization certificate with the application. (I was under the impression that it was not permissable to make copies).
Since then my brother has married a US citizen and has already acquired a Green card.
I have written several times to Immigration to abandon the original application and return my naturalization certificate but have gotten no response. Once, I filled out a form too (can't remember which one) that was supposed to be for returning documents. Again, no response.

How can I retrieve my original naturalization certificate?

If your certificate is lost, you can file N-565, Application for Replacement Naturalization/Citizenship Document. It costs $380. Do you have a copy?

Yes. I have a copy.
Any idea how long it takes to get a replacement? I 've heard it could be very long.

Thanks

Thanks!
This is the form I filed earlier and got no reply.
I guess I will just consider it lost and apply for a replacement.
