I received a letter from my congresswomen today regard my name check. Here is part of the letter “According to the FBI, they have a name check with the date of birth of 1965 instead of 1968 which still pending”. Here is the story regard my birth date, USCIS sent me RFE back in 2004 just before approving my green card indicating that they had two dates of birth in their record and asked me to send my birth certificate. I did send the birth certificate and told them the 1965 date was just a typo. USCIS approved my green card but with the wrong birth date (1965). I sent I-190 application to correct the date. I received the green card with the correct date (1968) in 2006. I am wondering how can I resolve this issue to clear my name check. Do you think I should contact USCIS or the FBI?
