Hey folks, its been a while 
My wife is a US citizen and I received my GC in Nov 08, with her as the sponsor. Since then, we've moved and USCIS has a nice form for you to update their records with.
However, recently my wife changed her last name to take mine, and I am at a loss of how to report that to USCIS. I don't even know if it is really necessary until we file I751 (and submit legal proof of her name change at that time). I cant seem to find the answer anywhere on the internet, and before I call USCIS (odds are folks that answer the phone don't know this one either), I wanted to ask some opinions/suggestion here. Any information is appreciated
