How to prove common residence if we don't have alease, but live with the parents?

hi guys,
i have a question, hope u can help
We live with my husband's parents, so we don't have a lease with our names on it.
i read somewhere that his father can write a bona-fide letter stating that we both live with him,
does anyone have a sample form how to write such letter?
we also receive mail from the bank with our both names on it as we have joint account, is it helpful?

Please tell us, if we should get a lease made which our relative can sign, or we get a bonafide- letter signed?

in either case, what does that look like?

does having a Internet Cable in my name , be considered as a "utility bill"....??
