How to open a service request???

Could anybody share his thoughts and procedure to open a service request ?
Does it really help in expediting the gc process ?

If you call the national customer service number and speak with someone and tell them your case is outside their processing time, they will open a service request.

In my experience, I dont think it's very helpful. I and my lawyers probably filed 4 service requests since Feb of this year and I never got a response.

However, my case just got approved today, so I am not sure if the service request prompted that, but I doubt it.

Based on what i see ....The service request response will be based on the info what they see on the screen ...It is actually the same info as the info pass info...

It is just my experience.
