How to make an inquiry?

I was trying to open an inquiry for my I-485 case by calling 1-800-375-5283. I followed the steps 1(English)-2(pending cases)-6(check status), but it always led me to my case status message. How can i talk to a real person???

I saw a lot of people here talking about opening an inquiry. Could anyone kindly tell me how to do that? Thanks a lot.

The secret code after you dial the 1800-number: 1-2-6-1-3-3-1. Then you May have chance talk to somebody. You may however try again. Good luck!!
