How to intrepret the current Processing dates at USCIS Service Center Portal?
Say an application receipted on March 19, 2006 is given as the current processing application for form I-539. Then how to interpret it? I expect at least more than one officer is working on I-539 for that particular category. Then how can for 20 days (between the last update on 22 JUne, 2006 & current update o 11 July, 2006), the 'Now processing date with the receipt Notice of" has not changed from 19 March, 2006?
On the web, some places, I read the actual processing date is far ahead to what is shown in the official USCIS site, and other places, people claim otherway around. How is this date reflecting the reality? Is this date (I mean, here 19 march 2006 is the day of earliest application among all applications for that particular category is being processed on this day?
I would appreciate anyone who could spare a word or two on this matter. Thanks.
