PLEASE HELP!

If I don't have anyone in USA, will they not give me the visa? I mean, I will provide that I'm financially secured for a long time (bank statement) instead of the support letter. But they ask for an address where to send the GC to, and if I don't have anyone there - is that it? Or I can just explain the situation and maybe give them the address when I'm actually in LA all settled in and everything?

In the form DS230, just put N/A for questions #10 and #11. Not everybody has attachment in the USA.
I think it s during the interview or when landing in the USA that you have to provide the address as far as I understood.
