How to get status?

Hello,

My 485 is pending since December 2001 and I've had no success with finding out what the problem is. I've called the BCIS 3 times and promised a written reply in 30 days but nothing in the past 3 months. I've faxed them as well and no reply. The lawyers keep asking me to be patient.

What can I do? What options to I have?
Please advise.

Ask your senators for help. They have forms on their websites, fill them and send them by snail mail. Make sure to include your WAC# and your explicit assent that they may initiate a query on your behalf. It's a very good shot, I've seen many approved people claiming they got approval after senators' offices started an inquiry.
