How to get information about a speeding ticket

I got speeding ticket in Michigan hbMay 1999. Contest the citation in the court and ended up paying fine. I did not mention this in the application, I reliazed only after visiting that it is required to mention that on your N-400 application. Michigan keeps seeding ticket information (Driving record) for only 3 years (Best of my knowledge). How do I get that information so that I can produce that at the time of interview.

call or visit the court that handled your ticket. They should be able to either give you proof that you paid the ticket or a letter saying they no longer have information about your citations.

DMV holds info for 3 years. courts hold it a little longer although they may have discarded 1999 ticket info.
