how to get garden city, new york

I will have the interview next week. I live brooklyn around 2/5 train, how can i get garden city by taking train? My interview time is kinda early, 7:25am, I am really afraid of taking train so early,is it safe for lady at that early time in brooklyn? I have no many choices, the weather shows it is going to snow, I don't have too many driving experience on highway. Your input is very important,thanks.
 
There are no LIRR trains close to the office. Do you have a friend in Queens or on long island? You could stay there overnite and then take one of the Nassau county buses. I wouldn't try to travel from Brooklyn with a 7:25am appointment.
