One of my friends is about to begin the green card process and he is going to file his labor. He has about 9 years experience but only has letters documenting 22 months. These letters have his job title, responsibilities and skills, start date and end date.
He is filing under EB3 and his lawyer tells him that he needs at least 24 months of detailed experience. He can get letters from previous employers but they are not detailed. The letters only give his job title, start date and end date. It does not describe his responsibilities and skills.
Question: HOw can my friend force his previous employers to give him detailed letters? Or is it ok if he sends letters that don't give his responsibilities and skills?
