How to find the processing center from I140 form

Hello Everybody,

My company went through some merger. After that we completly lost any interaction with the immigration attorneys. But the company filed my 140,485,ead and Advance Parole recently. I have copies of all the documents. Is it possible to find out the processing center from the application? As per the old company's approved labor it is suppose to get filed in the Vermont. But as per the new company's primary location the processing center is Texas. Any help with this regard is very helpful.

See the bottom portion of the receipt notice. It will tell you the Service Center. Or If First 3 letters of the Receipt notice is

SRC => Texas Service Center
LIN => Nebraska Service Center
WAC => California Service Center
EAC => Vermont Service Center
 
As I understand it, I-140 and 485 application center depends on your geographical resicence rather than the company's office.

My company has an offfice in just about every major city in the US. They applied for my labor from CA, but the 140 and 485 had to be done from VSC (damn!)

Thanks for your reply. I have not received my receipt notice yet. But I signed my i140/485 documents on december 15th 2003. I am assuming that they must have filed them on December 19th 2003. The communication process is so long in my company that any question I ask nevers comes back to me within a month. I asked for the receipt notice during end of December 2003. till now no reply. That's why I was curious to find out the processing center with just the application.
