Hello All,
I have already updated my EAD/AP for the last three years and my I-140 was approved too in early 2004 but just pending I-485.
Lots of my friends have got I-485 approved recently with priority dates in mid 2002 while my priority date is 06/2001. I think I'm in EB32 category and I'm not sure about the usual processing times in California Service Center.
I have already done Fingerprinting twice once in 2004 and again in 2005. My friends who have done fingerprinting after me all got their GC approved early this month. I also tried contacting USCIS and they are saying my case is under review and no information is needed but I don't why there is a delay as people with same EB3 category with later Labor priority date who applied I140/I485 applied later got approved.
Does anyone have any information related to this? Am I missing something?
My Labor was applied on 2001 with priority date 6/2001 and got approved on 8/2003. I have applied I-140 in 2003 and it got approved in 4/2004. My I-485 was applied in early 2004 with two fingerprinting done in 2004 and 2005 but still the case is pending. Everyone is saying as soon as finger printing is done your case should be approved very soon and I don't understand why there is a huge delay there.
I would like to know about changing jobs with EAD. Is there a limitation? What are limitations and advantages of having EAD Card? Based on the current situation at my work place, I may have to change/switch jobs and I need some feedback/advise on this.
Thanks in advance and your help on this is greatly appreciated.
