How to find out whether CIS received second FP?

Guys,

I have seen guys talking about contacting FBI or others to find out if second FP has reached CIS? How to do that? What should I ask for? Is there any number to contact them?

Thanks whats_in_name. But they are CA numbers. Does anyone know FBI numbers for VA? Has anyone already called FBI in VA?
 
3rd FP notice

Has anyone received a third notice in error? In my case, my wife and I went for a second FP towards the end of Sept., 2003. We received a notice for a 3rd FP claiming the previous one has expired. That's a lot of baloney! I checked the FBI system and our FPs were cleared a long time back. However, the BCIS people will not comment one way or the other. What a waste of our valuable time. Why don't they update the fricking database once the second FPs have passed. What's going on with the dudes? Where are our fricking fees going? I have been in this country long enough as it is. To have to go through this broken system is a truly trying experience. :mad:

Some others have had luck contacting BCIS and were told that 3rd FP soon after 2nd FP was error. I cannot say the same in your case obviously but it may have been that the notice was generated in error.

Well, that's not the only issue. They don't even update addresses for months despite filling in all the required forms. One has to actually call their 800 number to really update the addresses. Now where was that information available? The forms should have taken care of that. It's absolute stupidity. If this were the IRS, they would have been hauled a long time before a senate judiciary committee and given the low down. It's just that us fricking immigrants with all our fricking advanced degrees and knowledge are still inferior to some dopey uneducated citizen and don't have one-tenth the rights. Jeez, to think of it, we might even be inferior to the illegals. And to think this great country was founded and enriched by immigrants since it's birth. Makes one shudder!
