My ex and I married in Mexico in 2004. We lived in Mexico until 2007. We got her visa in 2007 and moved to the US. I sponsored her visa and signed the I-864. Since we had already been married 3 years she got her unconditional permanent residency right away. We divorced in 2009 in the US. Now in 2016 we haven't been in contact for a few years and I don't know her whereabouts. The 10 year anniversary is coming up in a few months and I would like to know if I will be released from the obligations of the I-864. There was no alimony and no payments of any kind since the divorce. She has been supporting herself but may or may not have been reporting self-employment income. Since we're not in contact is there some other way I can find out if her 40 quarters of work will be completed in 2017? Thanks in advance.
