How to find out if your 485 application is stuck in Name Check

How do i find out if my 485 is stuck in name check.
I am in EB3 with PD as November 2001, and just did my second finger printing last week.
This application has been transfered from VSC to TSC in march.
I spoke with my company lawyer and he says there is no way of doing it.

Take infopass or call customer service

Try to call USCIS Customer Service number and ask for the status on your application they will open a service request and you will probably receive letter in mail about what is going on with the application something on the lines of " security check is pending etc". A faster way is to get an InfoPass appointment with local USCIS office and ask the immigration officer why you haven't heard anything about your AOS application if your receipt date is before the current processing date for TSC.

Hi
I just called USCIS number and they said that i cannot ask a question till 60 days after i did my second finger printing, which i did May 4th,
So if i take infopass would they give me the same answer?
Because taking infopass and going there is taking a day off from work, and driving 120 miles for me.
