Could anyone give or share your experience and knowledge of 3-year H-1B extension with 140 approved and 485 pending?
Where and how to address the need and eligibility of applying for 3-year extension in DOL and USCIS?

Thanks in advance.

Use normal H1 extension process

To extend for 3 years beyond the 6th year of H-1, you first need to have an approved I-140 petition.

When your H-1 is up for renewal (typically 6 months before expiry of current H-1), file form I-129 for extenstion of H-1. Attach a copy of the approved I-140 and request a 3-year extension.

nick715us,

Thanks for your reply. How do I deal with the LCA of DOL, namely how can I get 3-year extension for LCA (9035E) approved? How do I address this issue in DOL and USCIS? As far as I know, I need get LCA approval first, and then submit I-129 along with the approved LCA to USCIS.

Any thoughts?
