How to determine your processing office?

Hi All,

I stay in South New Jersey and submitted my N-400 application to Vermont Processing Center. I was finger-printed in Philadelphia. Does that mean that my Interview and Oath will be in Philadelphia. How does one determine the local/district processing center?

Thanks,
Ravi.

Goto to the infopass site (http://infopass.uscis.gov/) and start the process of getting an InfoPass appointment. It will eventually ask for your zip code. Tell it you want to speak to an immigration officer, fill in all the requested information. Then it will tell you which District Office the appointment will be at (i.e., your district office)

Thanks, Flydog. When I try to setup InfoPass appoinment with my zip code, I get the following message:

At this time, there are no information appointments available for the office in your area. Please try back again later.

Is there another way to determine your district office?

Thanks,
Ravi.

There is DO in Cherry Hill, NJ. Type in their Zip Code when setting up Info Pass. Otherwise wait 2-3 months and usually your FP and Name Check will clear and you will be notified of your interview. (Location, and Date/Time).

Or wait a day or two and try to set up an InfoPass appointment again. That message is not uncommon. It just means that they've "sold out" all of their appointment times.

I finally got through Infopass.

However, the system is scheduling my appointment in "Mt. Laurel Sub Office".
Does anyone from South Jerrsey / Philly area know if that is a Sub office to Philadelphia DO or Cherry Hill DO?

Thanks.

It appears FP can be done at any application support center (ASC), whereas interview and oath are only handled by your own district office. e.g. I live in Maryland with Baltimore as my DO, yet my FPs were scheduled for Dover, Delaware because it was probably closer by a couple of miles.

Also, it appears Cherry Hill NJ is not an ASC. USCIS does say you need to go to PA.
