Hi Rajiv,
I have two H1B visas as of today.
I did my masters in USA and am having valid OPT till June 2010.
I was sponsored H1 B visa by a consultancy firm and got accepted long back. I and my employer were trying hard to find a suitable and better contract for me but couldnt find any till november 30 2009.
I was working on OPT as a fulltime employee for an Organisation from long time for a very less payrate like $2500 per month. They sponsored H1B for me which got accepted on November 30 2009.
At present I have 2 H1B visas.
Am getting very less pay on full time job so I am looking for good contract for a better pay rate.
I am in search of job so that once i get better contract then i can ask the client to give the purchase order to consultancy firm who sponsored H1B for me.
My Question is:
Can I keep on working for an organization whom am working for on H1B along with job search? So that once i get any contract i can ask the client to issue purchase order to consultancy firm and quit the full time job.
How to deal with the situation which i am in right now?
