How to convert from H-1 to EAD for current job.

I am currently on H1 which will expire in a few days. I have my EAD and would like to start using it in my present job. Please let me know waht is the process I would have to follow.

go to your hr and file form i-9.

Just inform You H-R. ANd You will Have to fill in some form i-9 (???) and thats it.

Responses are right

You have to fill up form I-9 BEFORE your H1 expires, get the form from your HR. And this might take few minutes to a few days depending on how big your company is and how painful your HR people can be. You will also have to give them a copy of your EAD card.
