How to Contact Senator??

Hi Guys,

I have applied I-485 and RD is 07/31/03. When I applied and got the reciept notice, it indicated that processing was taking 240 days. Now the website says 990 -999 days. So does that over ride what the reciept notice says ? TSC should adhere to what it says on the notice. Anyhow... after 26 months of waiting I am really frustrated and want to contact my Senator. I know that NCSC says to wait for 30 months at TSC but I'm tired of that BULL and am thinking why not give a shot and contact Senator. I have nothing to loose except continue waiting if that avenue gets no results. I do know that cases have been approved with RD after me.

Can someone please let me know how I find my senator's contact info. I have a link to find my Congress man from the following site - www.house.gov/house/MemberWWW.html

But I have seen a lot of people prefer to contact Senator instead, I don't know if senator wields more influence than congressman. Any assistance in finding senator's contact info and the gist of the letter to be sent will be appreciated. Also do you email or use snail mail when contacting the Senator ? If snail mail, do you enclose copy of 485 receipt notice ?

E-mail, Phone call,Fax, Web form ,Office visit... anything is fine. Why do you want to send snail mail, USCIS already delayed your case for years together and you want to start another slow process????

Congressman or Senators???: It depends on individual legislator's interest on such cases..
