Rule to call CSC(learn by experience)

0. You have to plan to spend your time at least 1~3 hours
1. Use the redial button until it get thru.(at least 50 ~ 100 times try, I AM NOT KIDDING !)
2. Avoid Monday.(It is very very hard to reach IIO)
3. Show your deperate feeling to IIO, it would help for getting more information.

Answer to H1Waiter. I don\'t know why i couldn\'t post on that thread.
The answer to your question is NO. I tried to get an EAD before 90 days at INS san jose office. they won\'t even give you a number. i waited in the line for 3 hours and i was not even able to see an officer. i explained my situation to the guy who gave out tokens. the SOB won\'t even listen .he just said " no one will risk his job to to break the rule to give you an EAD". my H-1 b expires soon and the extemsion was filed too late so i can\'t wait for 90 days for EAD. but seems that i have to stay at home for a few days. fortunately it will be juts a few days. F*** them!
