How to confirm LC is filed

LC filed how to know

Hi,
My employer is saying that they have filed LC from Nebraska and
it is transferred to Chicago in Dec'2003. But I haven't received any receipt number till now. How can I check what is the status of my LC whether it is filed ot not. I have checked with the company lawyer and he is saying that he does not received any info.
Chicago is currently processing Nov'2003. Pls let me know.
Any idea how can I confirm that the case is filed.

Call Chicago DOL, give your name, employer name and they will tell you your case. If it moved to DOL in Dec then try calling after a month.
