I work in a consulting company and I got full time offer from 2 IT companies.
Current status : Labor applied in Aug 2002, no status since then.
Company A
Same client where i work.
Advantages -
Since i have already worked in this position, i know i can handle it pretty well.
I am assuming since i have already performed well there r less chances of layoff.
Disadvantages
Small company.
Work - sucks its more in maintainace and less development.
Company B
New Company.
Advantages - Big Company with > 300 employees.
Work - awesome with robotics involved.
Disadvantages
If I get layed off somehow since i am so close to 6 years end my GC will stop and will have to go back.
So what i need to choose is between GROWTH and STABILITY.
or i shold say GROWTH/GOOD Work and GC
As other developers i am also hungry for good development work instead of maintainance.
This is very important for me, need to decide till monday morning and reply.
